We live in an era of hyperinformation, where a post, a tragedy, a joke, or a catastrophe all seem to carry the same weight — a context in which 1 = 1. In this continuous flow, everything is visible, yet nothing endures, resulting in collective forgetting. This project challenges that logic, advocating for information to be hierarchized and contextualized, recognizing that 1 ≠ 1 — some content deserves to persist, occupy space, demand attention. Reversing Realities investigates the relationship between analog and digital media to critically address information overload. The printed book compiles forgotten texts and, through visual interventions such as inserts and stickers, transforms into a chaotic space that reflects the collapse of physical memory. The app complements the book by reorganizing and revealing hidden layers of content, enabling the reader to recover essential information. The website, inspired by permacomputing principles, provides a focused and distraction-free environment, allowing users to revisit content with depth and serving of the project’s framework.
