Yorgos Lanthimos
// Context
This project consists of creating a magazine dedicated to a film cycle on the work of Greek filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos. Its development involved with particular attention to macro- and micro-typography as fundamental elements in structuring information. The magazine adopts a cold, minimalist, and unsettling aesthetic, in harmony with the director’s cinematic universe. The design is characterized by neutral typography, symmetrical layouts, and an expressive use of negative space, reinforced by a monochromatic palette that heightens visual contrast and emphasizes the publication’s neutral atmosphere. The content addresses philosophical, social, and behavioral issues from a detached and analytical perspective, while the graphic elements explore repetitive patterns, intentional misalignments, and deliberate disruptions, generating moments of estrangement and displacement.
